![]() Lisa has over 10 years' experience of working as an Educational Psychologist with pupils, students, their families and their schools. She previously spent several years working as a class teacher. She has worked widely in both the private and state sectors and has a clear idea of what is expected of pupils at each stage of education. Lisa has written widely on a range of topics such as settling children into school, helping children with homework and the effects of birthdate on performance in school. Lisa has a son who is of primary school age and she is therefore well aware of the pleasures, pressures and constraints of parenting and of the educational issues of the day. Lisa has planned and presented a number of training courses for head teachers, teachers, school staff, governors and parents covering topics such as dyslexia, emotional literacy, precision teaching, ADHD, autism, bullying and anger management. Lisa has a Psychology degree from Oxford Brookes, a Montesorri Teaching Diploma, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)from Middlesex University and a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology from the Tavistock Clinic. She is fully chartered and is registered with the HPC. Lisa is unable to take on any further appointments at this time for health reasons. |
